Beer-Soda Trend Keeps Rising with Anheuser-Busch’s New Cherry Cola

2016 is proving to be the year of the soda-beer, with new arrivals of alcoholic ginger ale-, root beer, and now cherry cola. Best Damn Brewing Company’s new release show this trend is not slowing down any time soon.

Best Damn Cherry Cola will be arriving on store shelves on March 7. The beer, brewed by Anheuser-Busch – owned Best Damn Brewing Company is their second national offering.

“Best Damn Cherry Cola continues to build our portfolio of bold, approachable and down-to-earth beers,” said Rashmi Patel, vice president, share of throat, Anheuser-Busch. “We named our Cherry Cola mission, ‘Put a Cherry on Tap,’ and our brewmasters have outdone themselves with this new brew: a delicious combination of cherry, caramel and cola notes.”

Best Damn Brewwing Co. first arrived with a Root Beer, brewed within the sophisticated facilities of Anheuser-Busch and marketed with its powerful financial resources.

Best Damn Cherry Cola will be available at bars, clubs and restaurants, as well as grocery and liquor stores across the U.S. in six-packs of bottles, 16-oz. cans, and on draught.

This release contniues to tread the line of hard soda and beer. Marketed and sold as a craft beer, but with the flavor of a classic soda, customers are either lining up by the millions for a taste, or looking at the new trend with skepticism.
